Racing Towards Algebra and Slope, an article written by KSTF Senior Fellows Alison Espinosa and James Town, was published in the October 2015 issue of Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School. In the article, the two discuss how they used a battery-powered vehicle as an engine to drive students’ understanding of the meaning of slope. Read more.
