Beth Ahlgren

Beth Ahlgren is an educator with over ten years of experience in Life Science, Earth Science, Physics, and Chemistry. She currently teaches at Minnetonka Middle School West in Excelsior, Minnesota. With a Master of Arts in Biology, she specialized in biology education, multimedia, and community partnerships. Beth’s work is grounded in the principles of inquiry, voice, and community-based conservation, and she has been deeply involved in Project Dragonfly, an educational reform initiative through the Global Field Program at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and global citizenship, and she is dedicated to integrating environmental conservation and community engagement into her educational practices to inspire students to become active participants in science.
