Ten Knowles Fellows Earn National Board Certification

Moorestown, N.J., January 29, 2026– The Knowles Teacher Initiative today announced that 10 Knowles Fellows achieved National Board Certification in the 2024–2025 cycle, marking a significant professional milestone for these accomplished educators. National Board Certification is widely recognized as the highest certification K–12 educators can earn.

National Board Certification is awarded by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards through a comprehensive, performance-based assessment process. Candidates demonstrate deep content knowledge and reflective teaching practice through a combination of computer-based assessments and classroom-embedded portfolio submissions that document instructional decision-making, student learning, and professional growth.

The following Knowles Fellows achieved National Board Certification:

The Knowles Teaching Fellows Program supports early-career, high school mathematics and science teachers in their efforts to develop teaching expertise and lead from the classroom. After completing the Fellowship, Teaching Fellows become Senior Fellows who receive career-long support. The comprehensive suite of benefits available to Knowles Teaching and Senior Fellows includes the application fee for National Board Certification.

More than 141,000 U.S. educators have achieved National Board Certification, including 70 Knowles Fellows.
