Why Math

Before becoming a teacher, Rosalie worked as a maintenance engineer in a refinery. During this time, she volunteered as a mentor with the GRIP Outreach program, which mentors high school students through sports.

Rosalie lives in Chicago and previously taught at Hyde Park Academy. She will begin teaching at South Shore International College Prep in Fall 2025.

Hobbies

Rosalie’s favorite hobby is running, specifically marathons. She coaches a track group on the Southside for new and experienced distance runners. She also enjoys knitting and gardening.
