Teachers have the ability to unlock the power of education by creating equitable experiences in which all students can grow as individuals, engage in content related to all aspects of their life, and receive the tools to fight for social justice. ”

Clare’s Story

Teaching Discipline

Why Math

I chose to teach mathematics because I believe it provides a critical gateway for multiple avenues of life. Math allows students to gain critical thinking skills through problem solving, which allows them to feel connected to their learning.”
