Claudia Bachmann-Bouchard currently teaches Multilanguage Science at the secondary level at Norwich Free Academy. She received her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Connecticut, Neag School of Education in 2019. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry certified by the American Chemical Society and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology from Connecticut College. She has two young adult children and is the legal guardian and caregiver for her adult sister with Down Syndrome. Her interest in education for children and young adults with different abilities has been a driving force to provide individuals with advocacy and opportunities for social, emotional, and academic growth.
