Monica Garcia is a secondary science teacher in Beaverton, Oregon. She has been teaching as a Dual Language Educator for over 11 years, and is a Patterns Science curriculum developer.

Monica has a Bachelor of Science in Global Environmental Science from the University of Hawai’i, and a M.A.T. in Secondary Education from Lewis & Clark College. In 2019 she won Oregon Science Teachers Association Outstanding Classroom Teacher, and was an Oregon Association for Bilingual Education Presenter.
