“Knowles provides an amazing space for teachers to collaborate and learn both from and with each other. I love being a classroom teacher and am so excited to share my journey with others while continuing to grow alongside them.”

Erin’s Story

Erin has been a high school Math teacher at Middleton High School for over 17 years. One of Erin’s passions as an educator is co-teaching, which she has had the pleasure to do in her 16 and 17 year teaching with a special education teacher in both Geometry and Algebra 2 classes.

In addition to her role in the classroom, she has served as the Instructional Leader for the Math Department, a Teacher Leader for CPM training with other districts and is currently the 9-12 representative for the state on the Wisconsin Math Council. As part of the Wisconsin Math Council, Erin will also co-chair for Wisconsin’s annual Math Conference.

Throughout her career, Erin has spoken at both state level, Math and Special Education conferences, and national conferences regarding co-teaching in Math classrooms. In 2023, she won Middleton High School’s first “Teacher of Excellence” award selected by NHS students.

Erin has a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics Education from the University of Wisconsin Madison.

In her free time, Erin loves traveling with her family. They are currently working on visiting all 50 states before her daughters graduate high school. She also enjoys volleyball, hockey, hiking, and camping.
