Quan taught and tutored with the Boston Refugee Youth Enrichment Program for four years and with the Health Advocacy Program for three semesters while in college.
He started his teaching career at the Leadership Public Schools in Richmond, California during the 2016–2017 academic year.
Quan enjoys lifting weights, over-analyzing cartoons, playing video and board games, cooking, baking, and attending music festivals.
