Why Biology

“Teaching science, especially biology, brings me great joy and fulfillment because I love seeing students light up as they begin to understand the world around them.”

Professional Experience

Quan taught and tutored with the Boston Refugee Youth Enrichment Program for four years and with the Health Advocacy Program for three semesters while in college.

He started his teaching career at the Leadership Public Schools in Richmond, California during the 2016–2017 academic year.


Quan enjoys lifting weights, over-analyzing cartoons, playing video and board games, cooking, baking, and attending music festivals.
